I was lucky enough to be born in Michigan and have a job that allows me to experience much of the Great Lake State. From the pristine forests in the Upper Peninsula where my ancestors spoke Finnish, to growing up among the world-class beaches and vineyards of Leelanau and the bustle of Detroit; Michigan has always been my home- I've never lived anywhere else, and never plan to. Sleeping Bear Trading Company was born with Michigan on it's mind.

Sleeping Bear Trading Company is based in Michigan and represents the finest world-class brands the Great Lakes State has to offer, including our ales, meads, hard cider, wines and delectables.

We are proud to service our Michigan clients from Marquette to Detroit. 2008 saw SBTC brands exported successfully to New York, Illinois, Ohio and The European Union. With the roll out of our new Psenkova brand wines and the addition of a few more hand-picked artisanal Michigan producers to our portfolio, 2009 is going to be a good year!
